Celebration Villa Engages With Locals for 2024 National Assisted Living Week
Celebration Villa of Reedsville, an award-winning senior living community known for its active involvement in local activities, is excited to announce its upcoming National Assisted Living Week (NALW) events. In collaboration with several family and community members, we will be hosting a variety of events to support our strong internal and external relationships. The events underscore Celebration Villa’s commitment to their residents in fostering a caring, safe, high-quality and independent lifestyle.
NALW is scheduled to begin on Sunday, September 8, 2024, and will run until Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Celebration Villa. These events provide an opportunity for residents, families, and members of the local area to come together for the celebration. The days will be filled with activities including a Sock Hop with Elvis, Alzheimer’s Walk around the block, a Revival with local Gospel artists and a Community Picnic open to all. All proceeds from this week will directly benefit the Alzheimer’s Association and Resident Holiday Fund.
“Celebration Villa is not only a place where seniors lead a joyful and engaging lifestyle, but it’s also a community that cares deeply about giving back,” says Kari Ann Keller, Life Enrichment Director. “Our collaboration with our broader community for these events exemplifies our dedication to community service and our residents’ passion for contributing to meaningful causes.”
In addition to this big upcoming week, Celebration Villa regularly participates in a variety of community outreach programs, including Good Samaritan Service Projects, visits to the local daycare, Veterans Coffee Socials and much more, which reinforce the community’s role as an active contributor to the local culture of Big Valley.
NALW is one of the many ways Celebration Villa of Reedsville, operated by Priority Life Care, encourages its residents to remain connected and to contribute positively to society. These events not only provide a platform for charitable work but also to reflect the spirited and compassionate environment within the community itself.
